The COCOONS series began with the "REBORN" series. The vision: to create something new from something already existing. Thus, the artist created her first sculptures using a process she developed herself. What had previously been a unique piece made of acrylic or oil on canvas was given more life and a previously unprecedented three-dimensionality by Reichel.
